What does WoW mean?

WoW is now "Wonder of WordPress".

When we first used the WoW mnemonic it was an acronym for "WoW one page wonder", where WoW is the key word of the logo for Women’s Wisdom.

Those were the days of static websites. But it didn’t take long for the WoW mnemonic to take on a new meaning: "WordPress one-page Wonder" websites.

Having your site developed in WordPress is a major improvement over static sites.

  1. The content is so easy to change – online
  2. You can change pictures and text
  3. You can write your own blog
  4. We can use WordPress plugins to add functionality: Share buttons, integration with Twitter and Facebook.
  5. Your readers can interact and subscribe.
  6. AND most importantly, if you want to be, YOU can be in control.

But your website doesn’t remain a one-page wonder for long.

So now, we’re changing the mnemonic slightly. It’s still got Wonder and it’s still got WordPress.

They’re just in a different order; so we get "Wonder of WordPress" websites!
